The LECG Global Competition Policy Practice is an integrated team of economists working in 8 offices in the United States and Europe. The practice is led by David S. Evans and Jorge Padilla who have worked jointly on many major multi-jurisdictional matters.
Competition policy matters are being brought increasingly before multiple national authorities. The Global Competition Policy Practice provides consulting economists, academic affiliates, and an econometrics team that work closely together on single and multi-jurisdictional matters. Whether a matter is before the Justice Department or the Conseil de la Concurrence or before a court in San Francisco or Berlin we have leading experts on antitrust, mergers, and damages.
The Global Competition Policy Practice has more than 30 economists most of whom have Ph.D.s from leading departments in the United States and Europe. Many have held high-level positions at competition authorities or hold professorships at the top graduate economics schools, business schools, and law schools in the United States or Europe.
